Ghosts of Kalamazoo Historic Tour Expands for 2010!

The Ghosts of Kalamazoo Historic Tour has expanded to include a new tour in Portage and access into buildings. Ghosts of Kalamazoo Historic Tour provides a historic account of Kalamazoo County with a twist of haunted stories. Four different tours will be offered over six weekend nights in October.
Tours will take place in Downtown Kalamazoo, Mountain Home Cemetery, Riverside Cemetery, with Celery Flats in Portage as the new tour location. The Mountain Home Cemetery tour will include exclusive access to the Sextons Lodge and the Receiving Vault. The new Celery Flats tour will include access to the Stuart Manor. The Downtown Kalamazoo and Riverside Cemetery tour routes have been changed and new information has been added to the tour.
Tickets are $7.00 per person per tour. Youth under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. These tours are not recommended for children under the age of 12.
Advanced reservations are encouraged. Patrons can reserve a spot by pre-registering for a preferred tour, date and time at www.ghostsofkalamazoo.com.
Proceeds from the Ghost of Kalamazoo Historic Tour will be donated to Warm Kids, a non-profit organization that provides coats, boots, mittens and scarves to underprivileged children in Kalamazoo County schools.

The Ghosts of Kalamazoo Historic Tour is a program of the Kalamazoo Jaycees, a leadership development and community service based not-for-profit organization. The Kalamazoo Jaycees have been serving Kalamazoo County since 1932. Membership is open to young men and women between the ages of 21 – 40.
