The 2008 Tour: What’s New?

Article posted September 24, 2008

If you attended the Ghosts of Kalamazoo Historic Tour in 2007, here’s what’s new for 2008:

  • Single-tour nights – Rather than grouping three tours in different locations on a single night, we’ll be doing a single location each night. No driving all over town!
  • New & expanded Tours – This year, we’ve got three 35-to-45-minute tours: a Downtown Tour (we’re working on some surprises here!), an expanded Riverside Cemetery Tour, and a brand-new Mountain Home Cemetery Tour.
  • More nights! – For those who wanted to go on the Tours last year but couldn’t, we’re running more nights in 2008. Each unique tour will be run twice in October.
  • Better reservations – In order to help keep groups small (and the Tour running smoothly), we’ll be taking reservations by date AND time - just like movie tickets.
  • A new charity for 2008 – This year, all proceeds will be donated to Warm Kids, a Kalamazoo-area charity that helps kids get new coats, boots, hats and mittens for winter.
  • Merchandise! – We’ll have t-shirts available for sale each night (while supplies last!).

To those who supported our efforts last year, we TRULY appreciate it, and we look forward to seeing you out this year!
